Review on China Med 2013 (Part Ⅰ)

Jointly organized by the Health Department of General Logistics Department of Chinese People’s Liberation Army, China World Trade Center Co., Ltd., Hui Tong Xingye International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the 25^th International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as CHINA MED 2013) has been successfully held from March 28 to 30, 2013 in the China National Convention Center, Beijing. As one of the most influential trade fairs of the medical equipment industry in China and even in the Asian region, China Med expanded in size year by year with more and more exhibitors wishing to participate. In the meantime, the three established brand zones North America, Europe and Asia were able to attract many manufacturers and distributors, highlighting the international nature of China Med 2013.

Statistics of China Med 2013

With an exhibition space of 32,000 sqm, China Med 2013 attracted a total of 540 exhibitors from over 22 countries and regions, including 157 exhibitors from overseas and 383 exhibitors from mainland China.

During the three exhibition days, there were 27,605 trade visitors from more than 40 countries and regions, including over 5,000 visitors to the concurrent forums and workshops.

Aside from general trade visitors, there were also more than 3,500 buyers from military hospitals, 5,400 buyers from civil hospitals and 18,000 distributors and agents that visited China Med 2013.
