Press Conference of the 22nd International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition (CHINA MED 2010) was successfully held in Beijing on July 23, 2009.

Mr. Peng Dongping addressed the conference. Mr. Peng said that the international tender invitation of military medical equipment and the procurement of military medical materials in Beijing this year would be carried out. He also addressed that the CHINA MED was an important platform for the procurement tender board panels of military hospitals to collect first hand data. Having steadily developed for 21 years and aggregated brands of special characteristics, CHINA MED is a grand stage to display the most advanced medical equipment; the best channel for foreign medical device manufactures to enter the Chinese market; the best platform for Chinese medical organizations, dealers and agents to look for new products and technology; the ideal location for international traders to procure Chinese products and the magnificent gathering for the mass workers in medical and health to acquire new knowledge, exchange new information and procure new equipment. Military health equipment with martial characteristic will be added for display in CHINA MED 2010.
Mr. Sun Hongwei is director of the exhibition division of China World Trade Center Co., Ltd.. He demonstrated CHINA MED 2009 and the latest information of CHINA MED 2010 to the guests and also answered their questions in details. For CHINA MED 2010 to be moved to the China National Convention Center, three factors are concerned by the organizers. In the first place, with the aim to hold an advanced and exquisite exhibition in the industry of medical devices, the organizers lay priorities on improving the quality of the exhibition while steadily expand the scale of the exhibition. In the coming 3 to 5 years, the exhibition area will remain 40,000sqm, where more exhibits in a larger scope will be on display. More and more advanced medical equipment and technology both from China and foreign countries will converge in CHINA MED. The space of the China National Convention Center happens to meet the future requirements. Secondly, in recent years, CHINA MED largely develops seminars, which demands an increasing improvement for field quality and space. Based on the fine equipment conditions available, the China National Convention Center happens to meet the requirements of the exhibition. Finally, the superior location of the China National Convention Center provides great convenience for the massive participants and visitors of the academic conference. As a result, the organizers decide to move CHINA MED 2010 to the China National Convention Center.
