On March 21st, 2009, the 21st International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition has successfully concluded its 3-day exhibition in China International Exhibition Center (New Venue) in Beijing. This exhibition covered an exhibition areas of 30,000m2.505 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions including China, America, Korea, German and Japan, participated in the three-day event to showcase the latest medical and health care innovations to 26,408 trade visitors and buyers from the world.

Cooperation of Ziehm Imaging and Stryker in intraoperative imaging

Vital Images Tops in Market Share, Technology, and Most Improvements Among Advanced 3D Visualization Vendors
Vital Images, Inc. (Nasdaq:VTAL), a leading provider of advanced visualization and analysis software, today announced the results of a recently completed independent survey of nearly 2,400 U.S. hospitals with more than 100 beds. Survey results show that Vital Images continues to be the market share leader among 3D imaging vendors.
According to the study, for the second year in a row, Vital Images held the top market share position among all advanced 3D visualization software vendors, with nearly three times the market share of other independent vendors.
To obtain direct feedback from customers, Vital Images commissioned independent healthcare market research firm Dominic and Irvine Research to survey all 100+ bed hospitals in the United States. Surveys were conducted between April and November 2008. Results reflect information gathered from nearly 2,400 100+ bed U.S. hospitals (86 percent coverage).
Shifang Hospital information
It has been 2 months after the successful conclusion of the 21st International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition. In the short duration, the organizing committee of CHINA MED is doing post-show services for exhibitors and visitors and keeping close contact. After the show, post-show reports are delivered to exhibitors timely. In the return visit, we got appreciation and reorganization as well as many precious advices.
May 12, a day we will never forget. On the same day of last year, people in Sichuan suffered the unprecedented heavy earthquake. One year past, we witness the diligent Sichuan people making all their efforts to rebuild their home while mourning for the lost families. On May 12, all members of CHINA MED organizing committee mourned for lost compatriots in the disaster with great sadness, showed great respect to the fortitude and diligence of Sichuan people, as well as sent consolatory letters to hospitals in Sichuan Province. On the 21st International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition, we are honored to provide our help and support to the daily work of Shifang People's Hospital and Shifang Second People's Hospital.
