The history of Beijing World Trade Corporation (“BWTC” for short) can be traced back to the China National Technical Import and Export Corporation Beijing Company, a company established with the approval of Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (formerly called Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation) and Beijing People’s Government in October of 1984. In 1992, it was renamed as BWTC.
